A Night Out at the Casino
February 27
One Bright Star is excited to host “A Night Out at the Casino” (formally The Starlight Gala). This is a black-tie optional event featuring casino entertainment provided by Black Tie Casino, Inc. It is a celebration of life that benefits the One Bright Star Organization. This special night draws attention to our respective mission, celebrates the lives of children and raises funds to allow our organization to continue its mission.
One Bright Star’s mission is to be a resource for families who have experienced the death of a child. A Night Out at the Casino is a celebration of life. It allows families to pay tribute to the memory of their child. The funds raised at this event will support the Children’s Memorial at Erlandson Park, our web site, our new web forum, monthly radio program, the distribution of the Grief Journal; free of charge to any family who has experienced the tragic death of a child, and our new national initiative – to assist other communities who want to build a Children’s Memorial in their area. An annual Memorial Service is held every fall to support families who have lost a child. Proceeds from this event will assist to these programs.
